KINGSWOOD RESIDENTIAL
Each year we take children on a 4 day residential trip to an outdoor activity centre called 'kingswood' which is based in staffordshire.
children are split into groups and have fun packed days and getting the opportunity to take part in numerous activities such as: abseilling, climbing, go-karts, quad bikes, zip-wire, team challenge, archery, aeroball, fencing, Nightline, Laser quest, Caving, Low-ropes, Team-tech.
All these activities are run by kingswood's fully qualified staff and are excellent in helping children to build up their confidence and self-esteem and take part in things which they may not have had the chance to do before.
Included in the trip are the activities, accommodation, 3 cooked meals a day with a variety of choice on what to eat and juice breaks throughout the day.
The cost of the trip is £155.00 each child but we do a lot of fundraising to help reduce the cost each child has to pay and we have been fortunate to offer the places to children at a cost of just £25.00 which is a massive saving.
Our 2011 trip was a big success with everyone enjoying it and all 35 places for our 2012 trip were taken within days of advertising it.
